Abel’s vision is to see communities across Kenya and Africa transformed, dignified, and equipped to thrive.

He believes transformation begins with leaders of integrity who can mentor others, strengthen learning and development, encourage innovation, embrace technology, and invest in the wellbeing of citizens. By combining these elements with a Christ-centered foundation, he hopes to see Africa’s potential unlocked for future generations.

He gave his life to Christ in high school in 1992 and grew in faith through Christian Union, campus fellowships, and church ministry. Over the years, he has served in missions, children’s ministry, and medical outreach, experiences that continue to shape his calling to serve both in the church and in the marketplace. His leadership journey has also been molded by resilience in personal challenges, professional growth from humble beginnings, and a steadfast trust in God’s guidance. Through it all, Abel has learned to lead with perseverance, humility, and a desire to make Christ known.

He is applying to the Abundant Leadership Institute to sharpen his leadership skills as a Christian leader in the marketplace. As part of the SMEP Microfinance leadership team, Abel desires to influence colleagues and communities with integrity, servant leadership, and Christlike values. He believes ALI will deepen his ability to guide others while advancing both professional excellence and spiritual impact.
