Confiance envisions a new generation of Christ-centered African leaders who transform communities through integrity, compassion, and local ownership.

As Country Director of Handspun Hope Organization, he is committed to equipping and mentoring leaders to drive sustainable change rooted in justice, dignity, and faith, particularly for the most vulnerable in Rwanda and across the continent. His dream is to see systems rebuilt to reflect God’s heart while empowering communities to thrive.

His Christian faith has guided his journey through hardship and purpose, particularly shaped by Rwanda’s history. He draws strength from God’s grace to serve others with compassion, integrity, and humility, anchoring his leadership in faith and a commitment to uplift the vulnerable.

Having survived the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi and led initiatives that empower women and communities, Confiance has developed resilience, empathy, and a deep sense of purpose. He is applying to the Abundant Leadership Institute to further strengthen his leadership skills, gain mentorship, and connect with like-minded leaders, equipping him to create transformative, faith-driven impact in Rwanda and beyond.
