Give Through a Donor-Advised Fund

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to set aside funds for charitable purposes and recommend grants to organizations you care about. If you already have a DAF, you can recommend a grant to support Kurumbuka Leadership Solutions.

How it works

  1. Log in to your DAF account through your financial institution or DAF provider.

  2. Search for Kurumbuka Leadership Solutions as the charitable organization you would like to support.

  3. Recommend your grant, including the amount you would like to give.

  4. If your provider allows you to include a note, please add your name and any specific designation or campaign you would like your gift to support.

Your DAF provider will process the grant and send the funds directly to Kurumbuka.

What is a Donor-Advised Fund?

A DAF is like a charitable giving account. You contribute funds to the account, receive the applicable charitable tax benefit at the time of your contribution, and then recommend grants from the fund to eligible charities over time.

Because the charitable receipt is generally issued when you contribute to your DAF, Kurumbuka does not issue an additional charitable tax receipt for grants received from your DAF.

Your DAF Gift Makes an Impact

Your generosity helps Kurumbuka develop and empower African Christian leaders who serve like Jesus, think abundantly, and multiply impact in their organizations and communities.
