Dorothy is deeply committed to serving God and her community, with a vision of fostering transparent governance, spiritual growth, technological innovation, and sustainable resource management across Africa.

She serves as the Social Services and Sponsorship Secretary at The Salvation Army in Uganda. Dorothy believes that environmental and economic sustainability, combined with equitable opportunities, are essential to empowering individuals to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

Her Christian faith, nurtured from childhood in a family devoted to service, has profoundly shaped her calling. Through personal challenges and moments of spiritual growth, she has developed resilience, compassion, and integrity. Leadership experiences—ranging from guiding church units to managing project centers—have taught her the value of empathy, teamwork, and servant leadership, shaping her into a collaborative and inclusive leader.

Dorothy is applying to the Abundant Leadership Institute to further strengthen her leadership skills and personal growth. She sees ALI as an opportunity to gain tools, mentorship, and networks that will enhance her ability to serve others effectively, empower communities, and create lasting impact through Christ-centered leadership.
