Francois, Executive Director of Root Foundation in Rwanda, envisions an Africa where vulnerable children are empowered to overcome hardship and become leaders in their communities.

Having once grown up as an orphan himself, he is passionate about ensuring every child has the opportunity, encouragement, and education needed to thrive.

His faith and life experiences have shaped his leadership with humility, resilience, and compassion. From excelling academically against the odds to earning a university scholarship, Francois has seen God’s hand guide his journey and now seeks to serve others with the same hope he once received.

As Executive Director for Root Foundation, he desires to strengthen his leadership skills to better equip his team and impact more children. Encouraged by his mentor, he sees the Abundant Leadership Institute as the right place to refine his abilities and multiply transformation through his organization and beyond.
