Jean Luc envisions an Africa where young people lead with innovative ideas, communities collaborate, and education and technology drive sustainable, inclusive development.

He hopes for a continent where leaders empower others, economies are strong, and communities overcome poverty, hunger, and insecurity through collective action. For him, transformation begins at the community level, with committed individuals creating lasting impact.

Jean Luc’s Christian faith has guided his leadership journey since his confirmation in 2012 and later joining a Reformed Baptist Church. Biblical teachings on integrity, love, and courageous leadership shape how he serves others, makes ethical decisions, and leads with honesty and care in every role he takes on.

Since 2018, Jean Luc has gained practical leadership experience through community programs, pandemic relief initiatives, and campus roles such as head of the evaluation committee in his media club. After college, he worked with farmers to promote sustainability and economic growth. Today, he serves as an Agriculture Extensionist at Kitovu Technology Company Ltd in Rwanda. He is applying to the Abundant Leadership Institute to strengthen his leadership, integrity, and community development skills and expand his impact across Rwanda and Africa.
