Kevin’s vision is to empower youth to grow as faith-driven, responsible leaders who positively impact their communities.

Kevin Uwonkunda grew up in a single-parent household, where his mother worked tirelessly to provide for him. These early experiences shaped his resilience, compassion, and desire to serve others. He is passionate about developing as a Christ-centered leader, growing spiritually, and using his gifts to positively impact his community and peers.

Kevin has been actively involved in church ministries, including youth mentorship, small group leadership, and the worship team, as well as leading initiatives at school and in his neighborhood. These experiences have taught him servant leadership, teamwork, and the importance of guiding others with humility and integrity. He sees Trek as the ideal environment to deepen his faith, be mentored, and gain practical leadership skills to multiply his impact.

Because his family has limited resources, Kevin is seeking a scholarship to participate in Trek. This support would allow him to fully engage in the program, grow in his calling, and use the knowledge and experiences gained to serve God and empower others in his community.
