Sofia Friesen

Sofia graduated from Trinity Western University (TWU) in 2018 with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Following the completion of her degree, she interned under the President of TWU and gained valuable experience in organizational leadership and higher education administration. Sofia also worked as an RN at BC Children’s Hospital and as a producer for Veto Studio in Vancouver before moving to Kathmandu, Nepal with her husband Joel to serve as an International Support Worker with Ally Global Foundation. In 2019, Sofia had the opportunity to co-facilitate a module for the Abundant Leadership Institute in Kigali, Rwanda. Currently, Sofia is completing her Master’s in Public Health at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
